Random Box Awards 2014: The Categories!

RULES:

1.       Videos must be posted from 19th of December 2013 –30th of November 2014.

2.       You can only nominate one for each category if the video is posted on YouTube multiple times only one will count.

3.       You cannot select the same video for multiple categories.

4.       Up to four nominees will be shortlisted for each category.

5.       There may be other special rules for certain categories.

6.       In categories which ask for specific videos, please also give the name of the YouTuber who posted the video.

CATEGORIES:

Best YouTuber – Nominate a YouTube account name or the real name of the YouTuber is question. Please nominate their main channel and not any bonus channels they have.

Best Gaming Video – This can be any game play, Let’s Play or montage.

Best Film – This can be any film, dramatic production or musical. This does not include music videos.

Best Vlog – This can be any video in which the YouTuber talked to the camera about a topic. This includes singing cover songs.

Best Video series – This can be any video which exists within a series of videos. All videos in the series should be entered, preferably under one title which is the playlist name.

Best Music Video – This can be any video which showcases rap, song or any other form of musical video. This excludes covering a song to the camera or multiple songs in the form of a musical.

Best Animation – This can be any animated video for any purpose.

Best Colab Video – This can be any video in which two YouTubers, who don’t regularly make a video together, make a video together.

Best Trailer – Any video which is in promotion of another YouTube video or release from outside YouTube (ie. Cinema release, TV, Video Game etc.).

Worst Video – This can be any video which is not already entered which you think is the worst video you’ve seen this year.

Best Overall Video – This can be any video you have not already entered.

Special Recognition – Someone who you think had benefitted the YouTube community without necessarily fitting into any of the above categories.

Nominate who/which video you want to win and then we'll reveal the long lists on 1st December. Soon after the short lists will be revealed and you can vote on your favourites!
